Launching our news podcast - The Defrag

Ever since I started podcasting, it's been my dream to build a news podcast that dives into the stories that I deeply care about.

My focus, as a journalist, has been the intersection of technology, business, science, and politics. It's an intersection that contributes so much to our economy, moves faster than policy makers, and is an area that needs more scrutiny and analysis.

At Lawson Media we've explored this intersection through our award-winning podcasts Moonshot, and Gameplay, along with other podcasts like Building a Unicorn, and Supercharged. However, all of these shows have very defined scopes, and long production cycles, that make it hard to dive into more newsworthy topics. So it's time to change that.

Today we're excited to announce the launch of The Defrag. Our goal with The Defrag is to ask hard questions, challenge ideas, and help sift through the news cycle to find stories you should pay attention to.

We'll be publishing The Defrag as a daily podcast (Monday-Friday) from January 31st, 2022, and you'll also find unique content here on our website, and across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
